It is amazing how much more functional the Wake offense is over ours.

Sam Hartman was a 3-star who according to ESPN had an offer from Elon and that’s it.

I find it HARD to believe their recruits are better than ours. They look organized and well coached.

Really sad.

As much as this board dogs Clawson, what he's done at Wake is very impressive.

What’s impressive in this game and a few others is how well the backup QBs played. True freshman for Louisville.

We saw some of that last year, but this year I think the message is avert your eyes should things come to that. Based on DeVito’s winces on a few plays Thursday, I’m afraid it’s going to.

I hope that’s enough “game film” for the staff. We should forward them a copy just to make sure they can’t say they didn’t have any.
Lol, I made a similar comment a few days ago... I never liked that excuse... it's not like they are playing a whole new sport... if the no game film was a thing every new coach should do fantastic... cant stop them, no game film.

UL ended up beating Wake 62-59. Wake’s defense was horrible from the start and their special teams were also exposed last night. Jaime Newman reminds me a lot of Eric Dungey. Big, strong kid who has great intangibles and is a winner.

The ACC could well only have one ranked team this week. Lots of pretty good teams, not many really bad ones (I am looking at you G Tech). The thing is, with Wake and FSU losing, we still could end up in second in the Atlantic. It isn’t likely but heck. most anything is possible this season. The Atlantic appears to be a lot like the Coastal, except it has Clemson in it.
