comes down to a bad offensive line (too small) bad secondary, and bad hc decisions and inability to manage. the ol is very weak, secondary is non existent, defense is asked to blitz constantly--- more pressure on a weak secondary. bullough needs to reevaluate his scheme, ol is just bad, dungey runs because he has to much of the time, stop faking the run to pass--, start deliberately throwing down field, using the back for xtra protection. use the option as an option, not as a plan for the game. for gods sake get a goal line pkg---try anyone,anything---never lateral BACKWARD FROM INSIDE THE 5YD!!! just my ho----by the way get strickland the ball ---ok i'm done and that was cathartic --thankyou

I agree with you but think it's simpler yet. Focus on fundamentals and cut out the stupid mistakes. Block, Tackle, and don't give the ball away. When we've played disciplined football we've competed well. At one point this season we were +8 in turnovers. Now we're even. Take care of the ball. Stupid penalties have killed us the past two weeks. Cut that **** out. If we quit hurting ourselves we'd give ourselves a decent chance.

That play on the 2nd drive, the holding one (think it was Emerich), was a huge killer. Went from a first down to a 3rd and 14. BTW watched the replay of the hold and wasn't totally sold that it was one.

Also forgot to mention the bad snap by Emerich on the 3rd drive near the goal line. We went from 1st and goal at the 2, to 2nd and goal from the 9.

I honestly thought the worst penalty call of the game was the phantom pass interference on UVA in the 3rd quarter on 3rd down.

Glad they called it though or we might have been shut out in the 2nd half.

Yes the first four games was the most disciplined SU team in years. The last two? Back to normal.
