Time Warner Cable SportsChannel Announces Basketball Programming
Begins on Sunday with the men's basketball exhibition
Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, the local home Syracuse University sports, will begin its basketball coverage on Sunday afternoon as the men's basketball team takes on Carleton University in its first exhibition game heading into the 2014-15 season.
Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will televise the Syracuse men's basketball team's two exhibition contests, leading into the 2014-15 regular season. Five women's basketball games will be broadcast by Time Warner during the upcoming campaign, including two Atlantic Coast Conference matchups. A total of nine women's basketball regular season games will be televised in 2014-15.
Both the men's and women's basketball teams are receiving preseason accolades heading into their upcoming seasons. The men are ranked No. 23 in the Preseason AP Poll and No. 24 in the Preseason USA Today Coaches Poll. For the first time in school history, the women's team was ranked in the top 25 of the Preseason AP Poll, checking in at No. 24.
