Watching the ESPN story, it's hard to disagree with you.

Every potential hole in the story was painted negatively for SU.

The downside of journalism. The need to get the scoop doesn't always equate to a full truth. That said, this could all be true. We don't know yet.

In that case ESPN and the Post Standard are partners in crime. They had the chance to break this story wide open back in 2005 and "chose to cover it up" instead.

I'm not saying there is no possibility Bernie was involved in inappropriate behavior with a minor. Maybe it happened. But there is as yet no evidence of a coverup as in the PSU case.

I sincerely hope that we will be in a position once this runs it's course to feel slighted because the media isn't giving "fair" coverage to the program being exonerated after these charges are proven false...
