They're still slated to be in the Colonial in 2014. With Navy joining the NNBE that year, that conference could be looking for a 14th member (unless others, e.g. Louisville, bolt). Perhaps 'Nova will find their way in by then.

It's not at all unusual for the ACC teams to play a FCS opponent each year. Some of them are quite good, so be careful. I think WVU is playing James Madison at FedEx field this year. That's a rather large venue for that type of game. It would be unusual to play more than one in a season because I think only one can count toward bowl eligibilty each year.

They're going to be FCS for a long time. According to Andy Talley, the ship has sailed: ""I think that ship (Villanova joining the FBS ranks) has sailed," Talley said. "We are pretty bitter about how we were treated in that process. I just hope all of this expansion stuff settles down and let's us have a conference to play football in for the next few years."

I tipped off SU about a certain MAC team that just lost a game in 2015..and would most likely look at doing a guarantee game or a 2 for 1 with SU. With the odd/even ACC schedule we need a few 2 for 1s with MAC schools.
