If you remember there was an article shared here about anonymous ACC coaches were saying about the team before the season started, Mind you this was before all the injuries and opt outs and such. They hit the nail directly on the head basically right down to the nitty gritty.

1) This would be a very challenging year for coach babers due to the following true examples they gave.
a) Lack of talent
b) lack of depth
c)lack of size
d)An offensive system that the rest of the league had figured out
e) no great player that could lead us past all of the above( Eric Dungey)

The real experts from other teams that have to study and play Syracuse were dead nuts on. Lots of people here poo pooed them of course but the facts dont lie.

Both lines are undersized and lack talent. further they lack depth
Like him or not Tommy Devito gives this team the best chance to win a game by about two miles over the other QBS on this roster
The WR core is abyssmal
Without the starting safeties the safeties now are to small and to slow

The upper classmen were recruited to play a different style of play then we have seen this year. Prime example is Servialls he is long and lanky and made to play fast and outrun and setup quicker than the guy that is up against him. We have not played that style and he is obviously hurt to boot.

Unless an Eric Dungey comes through that door again or we play Albany and Colgate 11 times there is no way, zero, zip , nada , never , going to win 8 games in a season with this current team and offense..
You dont have to take my word for it though just read what real people in the know said about us at the beginning of the year

Yet, these same players would be better on Boise State. The issue is Dino and his staff along with his scheme. Stop putting all the blame on the players. Dino is not a good coach and his scheme is, well it is what is.

I would give a lot to be able to argue with you but...I can't.
