This has done wonders for Scoop. Once you hit your mid 30s you can't play 38+ a game. He's been a pleasant surprise to me this year. Team is so loaded he can't try to do too much.

Did you notice how short a leash JB has Scoop on? Bad ally-oop turnover in the first half--out comes Scoop. God-awful forced 17-footer in the second half--out comes Scoop. Only 20 minutes, but he still had half of the team's turnovers. To his credit, he also had 6 rebounds.

He obviously didn't get the memo about limiting turnovers last game, he was on pace for his normal helping.

I love seeing Scoop in a reduced role. There when we need him, but not doing those little things I hate as often. I still think MCW is going to play well enough that he will play more and more ala Edelin, as Scoop takes on the Duany role (albeit totally different circumstances).
