Yes it wasn't pretty, but we are 1-2 and snapped a 7 game losing streak. Slashton even said that it was big for the team to get this win out of the way. The coaches made huge halftime adjustments that completely shut down the SB offense and our offense put up the game away with 2 scores. I would say that Slashton has officially become a big part of the O moving forward, which will be awesome to watch. The players have a huge game against Minny this week and they need all of the support they can from the fans. I know it is easy to complain about everything that happened in the game against SB, but let's move on already.

LGFO! Beat up on Minny and they get a week off to get healthy and continue to work on their team for BE play.

Maybe Stony Brook is better than Minny? They looked pretty good offensively. Their RBs outclassed ours and so did their OL. Their Q and DBs weren't very good and that was the difference in the game, imo. They had some key dropsies also. That TE in the endzone was hilarious.

We continue to come out and play only 2 quarters of football it will be a long season. However, maybe what this team needed was a taste of victory again. Next week should give me my answer.

I laughed at both the ineptitude of the TE and the ineptitude of our D on that play. It was hilarious.

Do you have inside knowledge that Marrone is largely responsible for handcuffing his coordinators or is this complete speculation?

Silly comment based on the offensive production this year and Shafer has bounced around from job to job for a reason. If anything Marrone has let him run the D exactly the way he wants which has likely led to the huge plays our opponents manage to get multiple times per game.

I agree. We need to come out strong. We cannot continue to start games off slow. Hopefully, the staff prepares the team for Minny's gameplans.
