With Marrone you never saw that , and I knocked him for being a jerk with how he left and for being a bad recruiter, but if he had a MacDonald the past 3 years or so he would have some great classes because they could sell momentum and the ACC.   When you are getting blown out it's a tougher sell is all I am saying.    Great to be the no. 1 wide receiver on a team and start all four years to get national exposure--but if the offensive line can't give the quarterback time to throw it to you, or if the quarterback can't hit the broad side of a barn then you don't get much out of the opportunity.  Not saying that is the situation here, we have a talent upgrade coming at key positions -- but just saying you couldn't blame some recruits for that sort of perception.  Losing is ok, blowouts not so much.   I am an eternal optimist - but the way we have been losing makes me think things are worse than our record indicates - really hope I am wrong.
