But Edouard's commit and the 2 decommits really didn't have that much to do with on field performance.  Cabinda had a ton of pressure on him to go to PSU based on where he's from, his high school coaching staff, etc - it's a PSU area.  Without that offer, I think he stays SU.  That offer changed everything.  And it didn't help that he grew up a PSU fan either.  Beau's dad played at Wisconsin and he grew up a Wisconsin fan.  Those two were really a case of two kids that committed thinking their dream schools would never offer and then suddenly they did and it changed everything.  We usually run into this in Florida, sweating out the potential FSU or Miami offer, but this is something that's going to happen more often now with the recruiting cycle speeding up so much.  We've been down a long time and unfortunately a lot of kids did not grow up SU fans recently outside of CNY.
