Notes: Junior wide receiver Taj Harris is now wearing No. 3 instead of No. 80, the jersey number he had his first two seasons ... Single-digit numbers have a special place in the program and are reserved for those the coaching staff deems worthy of being an impact player ... A two-year starter, Harris has 77 receptions for 1,124 yards (14.6 avg.) and five touchdowns in 24 career games ... Syracuse added nine players to the roster today, including recent signee Isaiah Jones ... A transfer from El Camino College in California, Jones was a 1,000-yard receiver as a senior at Cocoa High School in Florida ... Defensive back Nate Erickson, defensive linemen Patrick Alberga and Elijah Wright, linebackers Ryan Dolan and Tyler Cook, quarterback Luke MacPhail, kicker Brandon Peskin and running back Devin Flowers also joined the program ... Erickson's name should be familiar to Orange fans ... His brother, Luke, was a running back at Syracuse from 2017-18 and their father, Dan, was an Orange offensive lineman from 1986-90.

When the hitting starts that is the acid test
Some guys get alligator arms or aren’t physical enough so let’s see . I’m hoping quelly can be in the mix .Sharod is getting there he has been close for a while I expect him to be on the field a lot . And don’t forget Hackett and benson did very well last year at TE
