that we could probably start our own church.

"The Dome of the Blessed Mortician's Son". Something like that.

Deliver us, O Lord, from this heartbreak and wretchedness. May our balls bounce true and our zone seem as many. AMEN.

So moral.. so just..

you're thinking we're not very good, from the 2nd half of your sentence

I think we just make bad decisions too often. I think the pieces are here for this team to be pretty good. They just have zero consistency.

What's an immoral victory?

You want two things from a game - to win and to feel good about getting more wins in the immediate future. You might get the latter from a defeat more so than from some victories. If you do, someone will call that a 'moral victory' when it's really an encouraging performance. But you've got to see some consistency to have that reaction.

There comes a point where "we can be pretty good", becomes stale and no longer possible. I can't believe people are still saying that at this point in the season. It's like when I burned that cheeseburger last summer. It was so good looking until, oh, woops, too late, what's this? Burned. Season is over for the burger. It had so many chances too!

I meant 'just' in the in the morally right sense. I was merely mocking the thought of moral victories for a once great program like Syracuse. So many moral victories lately that Boeheim should be on the short list to be canonized.
