We Need A Win In The Worst Way This Week

We NEED this game this week! It's a must win in my opinion. The loss to USF was as bad of a loss we've had in a long time. They are terrible and we looked awful and slow. Win this week and we'll be right back on track. Lose and I will start having doubts about 6 and what this team will do the rest of the year. UVA isn't that good so we will see how good or bad we are. Let's get this season back in the right direction!

I'll take any victory, to be honest. A blowout would be nice, but at this point a win is a win is a win.

I see us in shoot outs the rest of the way - except BC and Pitt. They are very good on defense. But luckily their O's are mediocre to horrible (looking at you Addazzio).

BC's offense is one of the worst I've seen this year. Luckily they have a solid defense. Very good chance our game win them, final game, has serious meaning, and losing at home to them would be absolutely catastrophic (slight hyperbole, but definitely would be a bad L).

Agree with BC. But, Pitt found their qb last week, 6th yr from Tenn. Ollison at RB, Boyd at WR, and 2 good passing catching TEs smacks of must win shootout in 2 weeks...

I think we win this game going away. The staff is going to play all out and the team will bounce back after last weeks sleep walk. Too many high character kids to not bounce back. I expect us to win by 10 or more

i would be one of those with the here we go again pessimism. but strangely i viewed the usf game as a bump in the road, this time.i do not feel discouraged for some reason.

I agree with Tipphill. And I think they struggle, squirm and somehow slip into a 6-6 season and a bowl. Next year will be more fun. Dungey/Fredericks/Ish/Brisly/Erv leave me very optimistic.

It's going to be difficult for us this year if we get behind and have to rely heavily on the pass game to get back. We've got to start early and finish strong.

If SU doesn't win this week the chances of getting to 6 wins is all but over
