Notre Dame has a ridiculously easy schedule the rest of the year. I was hoping they would lose tonight at WVU to give us some extra separation.

As it looks, their only really difficult game remaining is at Gtown. Amazing turnaround from the Irish. We really need them to lose another game or two.

Big weekend ahead for us. If we beat both UConn and Lville we are in good shape to win the BE title and get a #1 seed in the NCAAs.

They will not win out. No way.

Notre Lame has been very lucky to win some of these games, so they will not win out. Syracuse probably needs 2 or 3 more games to lock it up.

@ SJU
@ Gtown

Besides Gtown, where do you see them possibly losing???

I'm hoping we get the extra game buffer, but I'm not relying on it.

We're 24-1...ranked #2 in the nation...remind me again why we should be worried about Notre Dame.
What does our ranking have do with it? He said "to win the big east ". The highest nationally seeded team isn't handed the title.

Notre Dame is playing far above their record at this point. They will come crashing back to earth soon, & will lose at least 2 or 3 more conference games.

We would have handled them if any ONE of the calamities that befell us was not there, so they were very lucky against us.

Because we are 24-0 against everyone not named Notre Dame?

Don't get me wrong, I think with Fab we beat them, but I love how quickly we forget the way the handled us just a couple weeks ago.

That schedule is ridiculously easy, damn. At nova isnt a gimme, neither is st johns at msg. I think theyll lose 1 of those 2, plus hopefully gtown. Dont see them losing any of their home games. Cant believe notre dame is our biggest threat right now for winning the big east.

I would say in order of liklihood i) @Gtown, ii) WVU, iii) Prov. and iv) @Nova

our magic number is 5. Assuming they lose @ GTown, we have to go 4-2 in our last six games. Considering we got Rutgers, USF and two against UCONN who have been struggling...we should be able to pull off 4-2...hell, this team could pull off 6-0 and not surprise anyone...

Considering they just beat WVU in Morgantown last night, I think the likelihood of them losing in South Bend to the Mounties is low.

Really have to pull for the Hoyas to beat ND.

15-3 still gets it done

let's not get crazy, every team behind us is not going 6-0 down the stretch

none of these games are gimmes

rutgers - while usually at home has shown they can beat anyone on a given night
Nova - has been playing a lot better lately, plus I will be at this game so Go Nova
WVU - tough game
SJU - good team can win this game
Gtown - this will be a boring matchup, like 42-40
Prov - while they have blown leads the last 2 games has shown that they can play with anyone in this league

dude you think we're losing 3 more games?? i figured youd have us not losing a game from now until 2014!

Worst case scenario...

Best Case, we win the National Title AND NBA title over the Heat in 6...

no way man, we'd sweep the heat, dion would destroy dwade.

No way they beat Gtown. Marquette is a much better team also.

Notre Lame easily has three losses remaining on their schedule maybe 2 or maybe 4. I'm going 3.25. SU has at most 2.25 losses remaining imo. Id wager 100 clams they don't beat WVU again

I really have no idea what I'm talking about, but one thing is certain Mike Brey will look like a toolbox and DWANE REID in Manhattan, Tj Max in Phlly and Marshals in DC will run out of their $9.99 mock turtlenecks.

to go 4-2 the rest of the way, all we have to do is beat Rutgers and USF and Split with UConn and Louisville. I really like our chances of AT LEAST doing this.

ND would have to go 7-0 the rest of the way...and that just isn't gonna happen. Then hopefully we can get some revenge in the BET Championship Game.

Tough for them to go unbeaten the rest of the way. They will stub their toe at some point and I will predict they lose twice before the season ends.

I'm not really worried about ND ... GTown, WVU ... I would give them as losses. St. Johns at MSG ... tough game. Villanova in Philly will give them all they can handle. They will not sweep!! Actually I am still worried about GTown and Marquette if we stay in this rebounding swoon.

Come on man. They already lost to Rutgers. WVU is much better than they played vs ND last time, GTown can beat them easily. Plus it is preposterous to just look at the schedule and say "prove which game they will lose" how many head-scratcher wins/losses are there every year in the Big East? I could just as easily look at that list and challenge anyone to guarantee me any game they are certain to win. I am willing to go on record right now and say ND will lose at least two more games in the BE Reg Season.
