Ty as always OE. I highly doubt that RU goes to any major conference. I think we are going to see the waning of the program in the next few years.

• Funding is going to eventually get majorly chopped
• Destruction of coaching staff and hiring of a relegated OC to HC
• No way RU is going to pay out money as they did in the last regime

Once the slide happens it is going to be a fast decent. I would compare it to us in the 90's-current although I don't see them climbing out of the hole. Shoot we are struggling to do so ourselves.

If ND were to join the ACC, joined by whoever, the increased revenues for TV for ACC schools would be comparable to that of the Big Ten. It would cost ACC teams money to move to the Big Ten, as the travel costs would be much higher.

Regarding Rutgers, I agree with you, once Syracuse got in, RU's fate with the ACC was sealed. Barring a major raid, they are never getting in. Temple has a better chance to be the 16th ACC than Rutgers does (though the 16th school would be UConn if this were to ever happen).

Tom, why do you say this? Personally, I don't want RU anywhere near the ACC, but why would SU feel the same way? Wouldn't they want another home game in NJ? Is it the aborted TV deal with ESPN that Pernetti spearheaded?
