From the Bozich article:

Check the September schedule. Don't spend another second worrying about Syracuse or Pittsburgh. Let the ACC's marketing department take care of that.
Here are games the league's holdover and incoming teams need to win to give the Big East bragging material:
Aug. 31 – Boise State at Michigan State. The Broncos are a 7-point underdog, but they've started the last three seasons by toppling Georgia, Virginia Tech and Oregon.
Sept. 1 – San Diego State at Washington. Huskies' by 14-1/2. Upon further review, it's probably not going to happen.
Sept. 2 – SMU at Baylor. Robert Griffin III doesn't live at Baylor any more. A Louisville victory over Kentucky and SMU win over the Bears on the same day would be a perfect way for the Big East to start the season.
Sept. 8 – N.C. State at UConn. This would be an upset because the Wolfpack return most of their top weapons, starting with quarterback Mike Glennon, but the Big East needs to deliver some upsets to change the conversation.
Sept. 15 – North Carolina at Louisville. There's no better way to show the world there's no gap between the ACC and Big East than beating the hollow Heels.
Sept. 15 – Houston at UCLA. New coach on the Cougars' sidelines. New coach on the Bruins' sideline. This really isn't a stretch.
Sept. 22 – Rutgers at Arkansas. I can't make a case for this, but I didn't want to exclude the Scarlet Knights.
Sept. 22 – Temple at Penn State. The Owls should have won this game last season, but lost 14-10. Every day seems to bring another Penn State defection.
Sept. 22 – Memphis at Duke. The Blue Devils are bad. The Tigers are worse. Forget I mentioned this.
Sept. 29 – Virginia Tech vs. Cincinnati. This game will actually be played in Landover, Md. The Hokies have a tradition of playing hooky early in the season, losing to James Madison (2010) and East Carolina (2008).
Sept. 29 – Florida State at South Florida. The Bulls are undefeated against the Seminoles. They've only played once – 2009 – but a win is a win is a win.
Sept. 29 – Missouri at UCF. Beating an SEC team in the heart of SEC recruiting territory? Priceless.

6 of those games are with teams that are not in the Big East this season. I also thought the comment by the Louisville fan about full members receiving $20 million each with the new TV contract was "spot on".
