[I]The [URL='http://www.insidelacrosse.com/article/2017-women-s-di-ncaa-tournament-bracket-maryland-is-no-1-seed/49412']NCAA Tournament’s No. 1 overall seed[/URL], Maryland, leads the way into the postseason atop the Cascade Women’s Division I Media Poll. The Terps sit 19-0 on the season, and are coming off the program’s second consecutive Big Ten championship.

The Terps are trailed by the No. 2 North Carolina Tar Heels into the postseason. The ACC champs punched their conference’s AQ and are the NCAA Tournament’s No. 2 overall seed.

No. 3 Florida, No. 4 Stony Brook and No. 5 Princeton round out the top five. The Gators, Seawolves and Tigers won the BIG EAST, America East and Ivy League, respectively, to win their conference’s automatic bid.

No. 18 Denver remains in the Media Poll, and is the only team currently ranked that did not earn a postseason berth.
