Nike is blanantly lying if they say they can’t fix our uniforms.
They can switch them whenever they want. The fact they can’t even get us a throwback look option give me a break.
If Wildhack is listening and I am sure he has someone monitoring the fan boards fix the damn uniforms for next year.

I personally don’t care if he monitors the fan boards. I just hope that he has someone with working eyes and an allegiance to Syracuse.

He mentioned on the block that we’d have an update on Nike this fall, 5-6 weeks sounded like october.

I cannot imagine a guy who worked at ESPN, is a grad of SU doesn't see the issue with our branding and how much of a hodgepodge it's been for the last few decades.

SU football identifies with literally nothing at this point. It isn't synonymous w winning (like the hoops program), it doesn't have the all white distinctive look of a Penn St and it doesn't give you any sense of historical touch points w their logos, uniforms, etc. If Pasqualoni was still coach, the program could identify itself as the place where their coach is an old timer (not trying to get into that argument, just an illustration). Similar to Beamer at VTech. The School got its identity from Beamer Ball.

I would think Wildhack will fix this and give the fans some retro lookback in a retro uniform or the complete overhaul. We need an identity to go along with this lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng rebuild so far.

(The obvious theory is that us old timers close their eyes and are asked to imagine a Syracuse football player, we see the best look, when we the most proud - McNabb at Michigan under Coach P. My 9year old son 100000% sees Eric Dungey from the Clemson game last year.)

Nah I think its perfect with the all orange uniform pants+jersey. An Orange lid would look weird and too much. Prefer the white to blue hemlet in this set up would need blue pants to go blue helmet.

You nailed it. White looks aweful with the all blue numbers. White outlined numbers and it might pop.
