Cascade Women's Division I Media Poll: Cornell Enters Top Ten; BC, UVA Re-Enter Top 20
No. 1 Maryland (7-0) sits atop the week six Cascade Women’s Division I Media Poll. The Terps are trailed by North Carolina in the No. 2 spot, as the Heels improved to 8-1 on Sunday with a 17-12 win over Northwestern.
UNC is followed by No. 3 Florida, No. 4 Colorado and No. 5 Penn State to round out the top five.
Making the biggest leap into the top ten, Cornell makes the move from No. 11 to No. 7 on the heels of the Big Red’s win over USC, 11-10.
No. 19 Boston College and No. 20 Virginia re-enter the top 20.
