5. Atlanta hosts Syracuse vs. St. John's
Liam Banks — the Syracuse star — has been part of building quite a lacrosse season down in Georgia. This weekend, fans in Georgia will get treated to an excellent matchup of Syracuse vs. St. John's at 4 p.m. Saturday thanks to Liam and LB3 Lacrosse. Banks also appeared on Quint's IL Podcast.
 
Both teams are coming off losses: St. John's put up a disappointing performance vs. Drexel, and Syracuse's woes have been well documented. That just means both teams will have something to prove this weekend.
 
Atlanta is likely host to a future MLL team, and the city is already pegged to host the MLL Championship this year.
 
“I really want the entire weekend to be fun for our local lacrosse community,” Banks said about the event. “Lacrosse folks love to play the game so we decided to add a Jamboree. Kids will get a chance to play some lacrosse and watch the best teams in the country compete, it should be a great weekend for lacrosse in Georgia.”
