Well at least the women won today

Several SU sports took it on the chin this weekend between men's basketball, men's lacrosse, softball who went 1-4 in Florida, men's (12th at ACC meet) & women's track & field (10th at ACC meet) and tennis losing to Virginia not much to smile about.

However, WIH won two and advances to the CHA semi's next weekend in Erie Pa, the SU woman's basketball team beat Wake on the road and women's lax won at home 12-7 over Towson.

Don't read much into the track finishes. I mean SU doesn't even have a long jump, high jump, or throws area indoors. Other than the distance and hurdles, SU doesn't have people in enough events to compete for a team title.

Good finish for Q's squad, but let's hope he can avoid his usual March performances. This team should win at least 1 NCAA game.

WIH has a tough task next weekend at Mercyhurst, but overall it's been a decent season for them. They have been hurt recently by injury and transfers.
