Just got back from UofL-Vill game. If anyone watched game on ESPN, not sure you could tell about the quality of the refereeing. Wow. There was a lot of loud booing at the refs (not sure if that came across on TV), and some really bad calls. At one point in second half at a time out, the student section, where I was sitting, was pointing and shouting "you suck" at the refs...hilarious. So, it's not just Cuse games, and Higgins and Burr weren't even there. Good game.

Nobody boos the refs more tHan a Louisville crowd. Nobody. It's almost impossible to watch games at the Yum with their annoying fans booing every 5 seconds. Bob Wischusen, the play by play guy, actually said that the crowd needed to "zip it", which I wholeheartedly agreed with.

his arms were definitely extended so it made it an easy call... but he didnt do much in the way of touching him.

Yeah there were bad calls both ways. To the defense of the refs, however, the game moves so fast and is so physical, I'm surprised they get as many calls correct as they do. I know I couldn't do it.

Have you actually been to games at the Yum? I've been to several, and no they do not boo every 5 seconds sir. It is a great environment in there. Will be going to Cuse game too.

I was at the game as well - behind the band, so we must have been pretty close to each other.. Cahill called a few from out front as per his usual. Gave a big stare Kuric in the first half.

I was to the left of the basket a little more than half way up next to the isle of middle section of students. Will be going to UConn game in early Feb somewhere in student section again.

The refs called 45 fouls in the game. Every main player was in foul trouble or fouled out. The refs thought the fans bought a ticket to watch them and not the players. When everyone is fouling out maybe you've called the game too closely. Let the kids play.

I have ears sir. I can't stand watching games at the Yum (not just yesterday). The biggest whiners in CBB. They look for EVERY call. And as I said, I wasn't the only one. When the Play by play guy tells a fan base to shut up, you know that there is a problem.
