Don't know if this is good or bad, but at his current pace, West will have the best receiving year for catches and yards, other than Lemon and Williams, since McNabb to Johnson in 1999.

its really odd to look at those stats. the most odd part? 0 td's.

I like West and he's fought hard to get better but he also showed why he's at Syracuse and not a big time school because if he had the speed he would have had a td in the game yesterday. The cousins have a nice chemistry together.

I think half the board is on bath salts for complaining about him at all

West comes down with the football (somehow) as well as any WR I can remember.

The only problem with West, and it's not his fault, it's more something that keeps us from making the big plays you see all day, is his speed. For example, that pass he caught on the sideline and cut it slightly inside for about a 30 yard gain out to the 50 yard line. You watch other teams make that same play but the guy is not going to be caught. West was caught by the guy behind him.

Again, it's not his fault, but it's one of the things that separates us from scoring more points and winning more games.

West has had a phenomenal year, by any standard. And I would say that's he playing himself into draft contention, with his size / ability to make tough catches he's demonstrating this season.

Hats off to him for making the most of his senior year.

Again just shows how little people watch college football other than replays on ESPN. Can't even see a good WR on their own team.

That's our redzone issues or maybe he isn't on the field in the redzone. But it is strange he doesn't have any.

One of the very few WR's who catches the ball consistently. I honestly don't understand why our WR's and TE's have so many drops. It's uncanny how you can count on a drop from a wide open receiver at a key moment with disturbing regularity. Something is clearly not working on the coaching side of this equation. Maybe they need to practice with Dobermans. Drop the ball, Doberman gets released and we see if you can outrun him to the stand.

Yep, he's just a body and 5th best receiver, at best, on the roster.

Not that it means much, but did anyone else notice he isn't actually listed as a starter? I agree with the consensus that he has good hands and makes plays in traffic, but lacks separation speed. Hats off on a nice year for West.

West sure looks a lot better...when he has a QB who can deliver the ball. What a difference when he is paired with AJ Long.

Yea, he's not. But he was in the first few plays so I don't think at a position like WR it means a lot. WR's, seem to depend on what play is being run. Ish is listed as a starter and I'm not sure he got in the first series or two. Seemed like it was West, Fleming and Lewis early.

Need to stop passing the ball to Moore. If we want to pass it to a TE, pass it to Parris, who has excellent hands

Agreed. Moore should sit this week for that drop. Unacceptable.

I like Parris too, but he also dropped an easy pass yesterday.
