I don't get the Nassib hype. I'll readily admit that I am no great talent evaluator when it comes to NRL football, but at no point in his 4 years at SU did I think 'Wow, that's an NFL QB right there.' To be honest, I would have been surprised if he got drafted in the 5th or 6th round. First round seems crazy insane to me, but what do I know?

I agree. I mean, I wish him nothing but the best, but him being a first rounder blows my mind. Whats really hysterical is... Geno Smith is considered the best qb in the draft #omfgthatguysuckssobad.

There's backup QBs in the NFL that sort of fit the Nassib mold. He's not a stud at anything but he has good size, good arm strength, reasonable accuracy, reasonable decision making, reasonable athleticism, he's intelligent. In a lot of ways he is a great NFL backup QB.

Back up, sure. But a 1st or 2nd round pick is suppose to be a good starter.
