Michigan/Florida at 3:30, certainly. Maryland/Texas and Cal/UNC are interesting Noon matchups. And I'll probably have NC State/SC or LSU/BYU on my iPad while watching Bama/FSU.

Section 40, row 55, seat 6 at Owen Field.to watch Oklahoma beat down UTEP in their tune up game. My partners include one of my daughters and her husband, who live in Norman, OK. For the record, my son-in-law enjoyed the beat down SU laid down. After a 21 poi t lead on the first three possessions, neither of us expected to see anything more than the vanilla performance/game calling than we saw.

Watched Maryland up to 30-14. Will check highlights later to see whether Texas puts it together or is over hyped, again.

Plan to watch FSU beat Bama (ACC homer in me, I like Bama otherwise) and will see what LSU can do in their new system/new staff.

I named my St Bernard Bevo (avatar) after Bevo Francis one of the first great bigs in college basketball. I've always seriously disliked the Texas football team. No Texas connection.

OU fans schadenfreude over the he UT loss is unreal. I knew the two schools and their fans hate each other but this is a whole new level. During a break they showed the highlights on the video boards and the crowd went as wild for a Maryland score as they did for OU scores. And when Texas scored, the heavy sigh set in.

Anyway, this game is over with five minutes left I. The first half. Somehow, they will forget to tell UTEP. OU trying to make it 35 before the half.

Crazy that a former NFL qb can't get better players at that position since he took over. With all the New Jersey talent Michigan has raided lately, thank God Harbaugh didn't get Tommy...

Agreed. The UM game proved it. UM is a decent team but not good enough to manhandle the UT talent. I reality, they should have kept Strong two more years. He had a lot of house cleaning to do and that will always take time.

Similar to SU, HCDB will need another two years before he has stocked the team with his players, though HCDB finds ways to win with the talent in front of him.

P.S. the OU QB is not significantly better than Culpeper. The ACC defense would chew him up as he telegraph's every pass, too bad UTEP does not know this. His throws are not accurate and he has been bailed out a few times by a few good hands receivers. He misses on the long ball, too. The difference, OU has a legit top ten OL and a good ground game.

What many Orange fans are missing is the HCDB is pulling rabbits out of hats and making do with what he has. Once he has his style players, game over. He. Will remain an elite level coach.

if i was home it would be vandi-MTSU tonight. for all the hype the QB gets they only threw for over 300 twice the last 7 games last year and finished 3-4. the big thing is they allowed 225 a game rushing and close to 500 total and 50 pts a game down that same stretch.. if we have improved we need to get close to 150-175 a game when it really matters.
