What do you want for a HC? Not who, but what qualities do you want the HC to have?

My list:

Can manage games
Close recruits
Is strong at O or D so if he loses a coach can call plays himself so SU isn't at any mercy of at least one side of the ball.
Good representative of area and SU
Evaluator and teacher/communicator
Leaning towards HC experience unless he's a sure fire HC material assistant and isn't from a mega power school.

I'm sure there's more and I'm curious as to what John thinks are the most important.

Develop Talent - We aren't going to get many 4 star and probably zero 5 star kids so how can we develop and identify talent from the rest of the bunch

Disciple - Tired of being close to leading the NCAA in penalties year after year. Being a team with less talent we can't give teams free yards

Install and offense that doesn't rely on the QB to be the entire offense, especially with their legs.
