World is a funny place. TCU is 4-5 and Zach is buried behind two other freshman on the depth chart. So much for the Elite 11.

Bad life move for Zach. He handled his recruiting like he was a professional handling free agency. Yes we had a coaching change, but we hired in house. Would have been a minimal change for him if he came here. Different style offense but nothing so crazy he couldn't have fit in fine. He should have stayed committed to Syracuse. He made a rash and rush move and now probably ended his football career before it ever really got started

Odd thing is that his skill set would have been a good fit for George Mc's offense.

Definitely wasn't the right decision for his football career.

Agree that he might have been a great fit for McD's O. But I don't blame the kid a bit for getting cold feet. Almost an entire new staff. I always think a kid should pick the school, not the football coach. But that's just me. Just the same, he got scared. He was 18

The kid's young and made the decision that was more comfortable for him. Stay in Texas at a program that looked to be rising fast or head to uncertainty in NY. I bet a lot of people would have made the same decision.

ALL4SU is right on the money. In this day and age, better to pick the school than the coach. The school will be there when you are a senior, the coach may not be.

i don't blame the kid, just always rubbed me wrong that he was the "ring leader" keeping everyone in line, and then all a sudden he flips.

He was just a kid but imagine if he stayed committed. We would be our guy in a huge way. Hard to imagine how much love he would have gotten from the hard nosed CNYers.

It must be that he wasn't all that good or needs time. TCU is a pretty good school, he will be fine. Has nothing to do with "Life" Drama

I understand what you are saying but these kinds of decisions do matter even if there is a lot of luck in them.

I'm thrilled with the two freshmen that signed with SU...Wilson and Kimble. I want people that want to be here as SS says.
