Since all the teams on the bubble went 4-4 or 3-5 in conference play, the one win rule does nothing to separate these teams, at least as far as assignment goes for the ACC bowl bids.

ESPN controls the vast majority of the bowls out there and no conference is more closely affiliated with it than the ACC.  When push comes to shove, it isn't the conference making the decisions on who goes, or the schools, or the bowl committees.  It is ESPN.

I would be really surprised to see any ACC school left out in the cold.  This is one of those times it is a lot better to be an ACC school than say a PAC12 school.
