Didn't Kentucky have a similar situation a few years back? I remember them playing Robert Morris on the road. I could definitely see the men's team being a 1 or 2 seed and having to travel to a school like Wagner or a similar smaller conference regular season champ who lost their conference tourney.

I was told on here it worked differently for "mid majors". In my absence this season, did I miss the usual amount of that term being bounced around and plentiful Boneyard talk? After today I hope some of that vitriol can be directed at Pitt instead.

Cant deny the women a shot to play a real tournament game at home after the season they have had vs letting us play at home in a crappy meaningless tourney that noone will care about

They really can just have the NIT games on the off night. The women's NCAA is a Fri/Sun, Sat/ Mon.

Heck no. Women deserve to be playing at the dome. I hate to say it because I will sound like a crappy fan, but if we'rein the NIT, I will have a hard time watching it. Right now it is 10%. I just read the NCAAT Chairmen Joe Castiglione say the committee WOULD factor the JB suspension into our resume. We are still under consideration. We just need seeds 1-4 in most conference tournaments winning the rest of the week.
