What I don't understand

Davis and his bro are saying they were molested over two decades but nothing escalated past hand stuff? I mean, say you wanted to accuse someone of molesting you but didn't want to sound "gay", what would you say? You would say some old man has been forcing handjobs on you. No oral or anal sex, no giving just receiving.

I don't know anything about pedophiles but someone casually giving two (unless more people come forward) step-brothers HJ's over two decades doesn't seem plausible.

Edit: Even if this is true and did happen, it still doesn't make any sense.

Obviously we can't and may never know. The thing that I've understood about most sexual crimes is that the person committing them usually a) continue until they get caught and b) they usually escalate. Now, this could be untrue, or could just not be the case for this scenario...but it does bring up more questions.

Exactly. When you're 27 years old and some old guy is playing with your junk, that's not molestation - you're gay.

And the other piece of this story that just doesn't add up - the older brother first denied that anything had happened, and now recants his story. Ok, say Bernie was fondling the older brother - why in the world would the older brother then say to his younger brother "Hey, you've got to be a Syracuse ball boy; it's a great gig."

Well here is one thing i noticed, in the Sandusky case, none of the kids who testified, from what I read, testified to any actual sex. The only mentions were when McQuaery and the janitor saw it. My thought in that case was the kids were too ashamed to admit to it. Obviously not really the case here, I would guess.

It is an odd story -- and if there aren't any others (underage) in the past 20 years, you can understand why the reporters did not find a basis to publish.
