Fran Brown just gets it. He spoke about the “Syracuse Sixty”. Using the alumni network, every player will have a job in their field or be on a roster within 60 days of graduation. That includes this year’s grads. All the guys not going on in FB already have jobs.

Love this. Missed he said this. It’s a great recruiting pitch to parents and he means it. He often speaks of his own experience when he got cut in the nfl and not having a job was the hardest thing. Hes trying to prepare the guys for the real world. Why being late to meetings pisses him off so much. You can’t be late to your job.

Yep what this guy is doing here is just stellar. Culture etc. this friggin community better start buying in as yesterdays attendance was borderline embarrassing, seems all are giving it a pass this time the very few people there, cuz, and this is the first time I’ve ever said this, ever….

Because if the support remains tepid in terms of the Dome crowd it WILL be a contributing factor if he gets disillusioned and leaves for greener pastures.

Next years gonna be challenging, and that’s an understatement, regardless that’s a given, but next week better be sold out or it’ll be the start of some discontent on his part.

He might never say it but…..

You realize that if you took the crowd out of the student section that was open to general public, and moved them into the regular sections of the Dome that we would have had a pretty good attendance actually?

Like I said, regardless of reason(s) we’re all giving a pass to this last game. The casuals better step it up or forever hold their peace/shut their yaps

And having worked up until I was 76. Too many in today's work force take days off on a regular basis.
Worked part time, in my last few years, and asked my Managers to give me 3 days at specific times, they jumped on it.
They knew those times and days were covered.
Fran is teaching these young men responsibility, and that is a wonderful thing.
