What is your all time favorite play or basketball moment as a fan of Orange basketball? I'm NOT talking about 2 minute stretches, or a 2nd half comeback like against UVA, or the 6 OT game vs UConn... I'm talking individual play/moment. An example could be Pearl's half-court winner, John Wallace NCAA clutch shot vs. Georgia, Hakim Warrick teabagging Royal Ivey, etc.
For me, I am going to go pretty obscure and non-meaningful in history... I have never laughed as hard or been as entertained as when Louie McCroskey went hammer time all over Hilton Armstrong. Jonny Flynn vs. Rutgers was close, but c'mon, Louie McCroskey rising up, cramming, AND mean mugging?! I swear to you there is no video evidence of the play, but I do have a grainy gif. Are you not entertained?! Looking forward to hearing some other favorites, try to post a video, gif, pic or story with it if you can.

All time favorite has to be the block by Hakim. Gmacs buzzer beater against gtown was sweet, the flynn dunk over rosario was great. Even though it didn't count, Devo's shot against Uconn at the end of regulation.

Duany's rebound.

One of my favorites was early in 2003 when SU was playing Missouri in the Dome. Missouri was ranked and had a pretty decent team.

It waas just before half time, SU was outplaying Missouri, Someone from SU scored...I think it was Gmac but I cant remember, but Gmac starts to jog back on defense and as the Mizzou player is lazily in-bounding the ball, Gmac stops on dime, turns, jumps, intercepts the ball and drains a jumper just before time runs out...Quin Snyder had both hands buried deep in his mop, ripping his hair out on the sidelines. It was priceless...and was about the time when you said " Hey...this guys going to be a pretty damn good ball player" :)

And for a less important, probably mostly forgotten one, I love the ball movement, teamwork, and obvious versatility of our players that's evident on this play that put the nail in the coffin of this game, followed by Coleman's lap around the court hi-fiving everyone. In the NBA the media often tried to paint him as basically the worst thing to ever happen to basketball, but this is the way I remember Coleman as a bball player.

The quick steal and series of two or three passes without the ball hitting the floor that ended with a Billy Owens (tiebreaking?) alley-oop and foul in the 1989 Georgetown game was awesome.

Obviously the block, Cipolla's shot, and a number of other things have more significance, but if we're talking about excited, goosebumps/hair on the forearms, gut-feeling great SU moments, that's up at the top of the heap.

I also remember John Wallace's late dunk and-one against UConn in 1994 similarly. And Onuaku's falling-down make in the second half against Nova in 2010. EDIT: here's Arinze:

1 Pearl breaking the Georgetown defenders ankles; and then he hit a jumper at the foul line.

2 Since we are from the same hometown, Tyler Lydon's block at the end of tournament game.

There's a UConn site that has a ton of their games uploaded. That's the only place I've seen the 1994 game at the Dome.

Do they have the 1999 big monday game that we blew their doors off? That is one of my favorites.

MBB: 2/1/1994 – UConn at Syracuse I can't find the dunk quickly, but gotta set aside some time to rewatch the whole thing soon. One of my favorites. Bonus point for this game, I can see Young OttoMets during Eilenberg's starting lineups for UConn.

DeShaun's easy to find, 29:15 on this one MBB: 1/24/2000 – UConn at Syracuse. Incredible man defense by SU in that game.
