What is it about NC State?

I have seen a few posters here and a couple articles with season predictions that show us losing to NC State. Really? They had a 3-9 season last year and have over 50 (I think) freshman on the team this Fall. Brissett seems like their bright spot and he only played in a handful of games for Florida last year. Am I missing something?

So my 5 yr old son literally yelled at me this morning as we were walking to the school bus. He asked, "Dad, why is our neighbors NC St. flag flying and our SU flag isn't?" . I told him everyone is undefeated at the start of the season and that we should support them while they still have optimism. Then I told him that it was just a few years ago, just before he was born, that we were in that same situation.

Not hearing good things about the WolfPack this year. A lot of people I work with at the University (who are pretty well connected to the football team) are dreading the season. They do play an easy non-conference schedule (should start 3-1 at the worst), but it's going to be a long year.

If you look on paper, it's a no brainer that we'd win.

But then you look at our schedule, and I can see why people are making that guess. It's a week after Clemson, which is also one week after our gauntlet of ND, Louisville, FSU, (Wake), Clemson. We could be pretty beaten up. They have a week off before our game.

I see it as the opposite since the team will be riding so high after beating ND, FSU, Clemson, and UL... this has all the makings of a trap game. I do think we pull it out to keep our playoff hopes alive though.

Agree about the OL, that and PK could kill this team.
