But ultimately the guy has been an excellent guard for two of the last three seasons and, while he struggled at times last year, still made a lot of big shots and helped a pretty offensively challenged team (Melo was awful, Waiters was out of shape and wildly inconsistent, KJ was OK but not a big go-to guy, Fair was solid but is better this year, RJ was great but still a hair limited offensively ...) to a 28-7 record. I mean he's simply been a really good player for the better part of the last three years.
