What kills me the most is

When I hear or read that "but they struggled" or "they are not playing as well as other teams" or "we are a dumb basketball team"..."we fail to put teams away"..."they will eventualy lose games like this"

all of that . When you win 31 games out of 32 that just shows how big and hairy this teams balls are. 32 games is a pretty good indicator of what to expect. We just refuse to let teams beat us in the end.

I don't mind when the Gottlieb's or whoever talk about our weaknesses, because they are pretty obvious. I just wish these guys would give us some praise, talk about how great our D has been all season, how diverse we can be, how we excel in late game situations, how we simply WIN games. They talk about how great UK, UConn, MSU, Kansas, etc are when they win the close ones. Why not us?

i recognize that the rebounding is an issue, but the thing i don't get is how much time they spend on the rebounding numbers, and then gloss over the stat that actually matters which is second chance points. if i heard right yukon had 8 or 9 offensive boards in the first half, but only 4 second chance points. i remember in the west virginia game everyone loves to harp on, we got killed on the glass but only lost the second chance points something like 12-8. offensive rebounds only matter if you are scoring off them.

Agreed. I'll criticize the lack of hustle of some of the backline guys, but how could anyone call this a dumb team? Far from it.

What kills ME the most is getting shot with about 37 bullets while falling from a 20 story building after being blown out of the window by a massive explosion shortly after being poisoned with a cyanide capsule.

That's an excellent point. Seems to me a lot of the opposing team offensive rebounds are coming off last second shots that rebound long back to their guards. Teams are holding the ball against us and not necessarily looking to run their offense. The reset clock leads to another 35 second stall leading to another bad shot.

either that or they are volleyballing off the backboard and getting credit for rebounds that aren't really producing possessions or good shots.

The thing I love most about the last few weeks...is that teams have tried every single way to beat us...and other than ND/NCAA they have not been able to. If I were an analyst looking at this team, I would have to ask at some point...how the do you actually beat Cuse?

Exactly !! We keep playing "so poorly" and yet nobody can seem to beat us. Imagine what will happen next time we actually play a good game, with everyone contributing. Even Kentucky couldn't stay with us if that happens.

If, if, that were to happen, we're 30-40 points better than any decent tournament team (think of the Seton Hall Big East opener) and 15-20 points better than UK or UNC.

That'd be fun to watch.
