What most concerns me is keeping as much as the staff as we can. They have proven to be good recruiters (and improving), good coaches, and work well as a unit. If we lose many from this class, it will set the program back a year or two, even if we end up with another good staff. I think it is vitally important to be on the phones with the kids as soon as they can to reassure them. The AD will be walking a thin line, balancing quality of candidates as well as a critical time line. I think it is also important to focus on a dynamic offensive philosophy and an aggressive, unpredictable defensive philosophy. Coaches believing in 3 yards and a cloud of rubber pellets need not apply.
