Is that our whole interrior Defense is coming back next year and the zone sucks down low. Our two best defenders are up top that gets major steals all the time and will be gone along with some of their scoring.

M2M has to be an option put on the table for use. The game is changing, but we don't......

(Someone tell this guy about PC).

Chukwu isn't starting. He's no better offensively than Coleman.

I think you're going to be disappointed. The guy remains a project.

The OP didn't mention offense. He's talking about defense. Try to keep up.

If by conference play Chukwu isn't starting and averaging 30 mins a game, I am not confident next year will be any better than this year. A DC2/PC 50/50 platoon means the 5 is still a sieve.

I'm not as worried about the defense, the offense worries be, esp if Malachi decides to bolt.

How many games this year have we won because of defense? Our big wins; A&M, UConn, ND, FSU we all scored very efficiently. You could argue Duke was a defensive battle, but the rest of those were because we scored, not because we won 55-52.

Yeah, I'll try to keep up, Mr. Trump.

Like I said, Coleman starts. Chukwu will come off the bench to provide some shot blocking because he won't provide much else.

If that were to happen, you can write off next year.

If these guys are bad in zone what makes anyone think they would be good in man? DC3 will always be a fouls machine, Roberson will always be undersized, Lydon will always be too skinny, etc... M2m doesn't fix any or these and in fact makes it harder to hide these guys. Zone at least lets us protect our soft under belly.

Oh come on. You don't need Richardson declaring before writing off next year. We can do it right now!

Your move.

"What scares me the most about next year Is that our whole interrior Defense is coming back next year and the zone sucks down low."
Do you limit yourself to the first sentence only?

"Our two best defenders are up top that gets major steals all the time and will be gone along with some of their scoring."

We won't win 10 f___ing games next year. Okay? Not 10!

I focused on the "what scares me the most" part. Next time be more clear.

We're doooooomed! This team will be lucky to win a game!!

Better?

PC is a shot blocker. he changes the zone. I don't care if he scores a pt next year. He can alter or block the just inside foul line shot while still being back. the difference for us with him over Coleman is striking. you are way under valuing what a 7-2 shot blocker does for our zone. He is 6 inches taller than Coleman , who to make matters even worse, can't jump. If he doesn't play a min of 25 minutes a game next year, I will be very surprised. Big upgrade.

So... because we theoretically might have weaknesses playing m2m, we should therefore never ever give it an honest look. Got it. I mean, after all, our current defense is setting the world on fire. Btw, what exactly is our zone protecting these days? I've lost track of which excuse is the flavor of the week.

He's not going anywhere. Find me a mock draft that even has him in the first round.

We really need to strongly consider bringing in the best available 5th year transfer we can find, at any position because we still need help all over the court.

We need to start scoring in this bs free agency 5th year senior scam.

Coleman started both halves yesterday and how much playing time did he get? Everyone gets hung up on who starts. Who gets the minutes tells you who JB thinks gives him the best chance to win the game.

No...if I don't post at all about Syracuse and my views would mean I was a very complacent fan who accepts every loss. BETTER
