We aren't USC, and we aren't Miami. We're Syracuse, and I like it that way. He should get more than the absolute minimum punishment required by the NCAA/ACC. In my opinion, he should get some community service hours (that must be filled by the end of the school year - May) and more stadiums/sprints than he can count this week (we have a bye so it won't make him tired for any games). I think that fits the crime, and it isn't overly burdensome, but it will instill a sense of discipline and keep him from acting stupid in the future. It also won't tangibly affect our on the field product.

If this hasn't already happened, he should be forced to write a hand-written apology to the guy that he punched. Sure the guy gave him a little bit of a cheap short to elicit the punch, but we're the bigger men and should be held o a higher standard.
