What team was better, 01 Griffin team, or 11 rick jackson team

The '01 team was limited inside, but had better scoring versatility with Damone [who had a really impressive senior season] / Shumpert / Griffin than the '11 team, IMO.

But Rick would skin the bigs on the '01 team alive.

I actually think the 01-02 team was significantly worse than either of those teams. Griffin and Brown graduated after 00-01. Plus Deshaun Williams significantly wore down as the year progressed because of the load he was trying to carry.

True, but the 01 team was hardly a pushover. They would give the '11 team a solid game.

2011, and I don't think it's close. Shumpert was better than Joseph, and that's it. I'd even take Rick Jackson over Brown. 2001 was a nice year, given our personnel. Not the most talented bunch, though, and so weak inside. Freshman Fab would have dominated against that team.
