I didn't think he was brutal. He was pretty complimentary of SU overall, not condescending and he provided so much more quality analysis than anyone else this season.
Was it him or the other guy who had a man crush on PTG. One of them was raving about him the whole game. I think he would have kissed him if he could!

His analysis of the touchdown that Dyshawn Davis messed up was one of the better breakdowns I have seen during a game. Have seen the same type analysis during highlight shows well after game has ended but rarely a full breakdown immediately after play in game.
A Mean-Moore!
He was the best announcer for an SU game thus far. By far.[/QUOTE
Haven't watched the replay yet so I can't comment on Millen, but I liked Dave LaMont and Ray Bentley from the CMU game. They were excellent, imo and will be tough to beat.
Isn't that what he is there for? Whether it was embarrassing or not it was deserved! It was embarassing how he kept talking about our defense as if they had not been coached and HE was going to take the opportunity, on the air, to give the lesson they needed. Tha sucked.
At one point he got impatient with their producer and called him by name in telling him to "run the video." I was a little surprised but he wasn't and over the top douchebag, just a little bit of one. Most of the honest comments WERE refreshing, agree with that, just the coaching seemed too much for me to take.
Guys at that level don't need to - they see what we don't and they see it coming before it happens. I remember Mike Greenberg saying that he was watching a play on the big screen and Herm walked by took a glance and said. "That's a score - they got that blocked". Mike hit go and sure enough it was a score. Coaches and players at a high level are watching a different game than we do.Yup - he also stated that he had never seen PTG play before, seems strange he didn't at least watch a few games to prep for his nationally broadcasted announcing gig...
