I'm curious to see where our buddy Ron Morris votes Syracuse this week, since Ohio State and UNC both lost. I'll predict he'll continue to vote Syracuse #4 - he's gotta drop UNC after getting blown out by 33, but I think he'll leave Ohio State ahead of Syracuse since they lost on the road (and by a reasonable margin)...and then will leapfrog Baylor over Syracuse. I don't know that he actually believes that, but he's getting some measure of fame as the guy that keeps voting Syracuse #4 and won't want to give that up without a fight.

There is some village in South Carolina who has lost their idiot ... He will not, I repeat, NOT vote SU #1. He has already said as much. He has decided, based on his reading of a pre-season magazine that the top 3 teams are OSU, Kentucky, and North Carolina. End of story. He should lose his voting rights like he lost his rights to post-game pressers with Steve Spurrier. He was an idiot then... he is an idiot now. He watches hockey and football ... not basketball.

Another post where putting your cursor over the title for a preview provides an interesting view. It ends after 35 words, (including #4).

He, like all the other pundits, is waiting for SU to get their first lost and then jump on the, "I told you so" bandwagon. If it happens on the road you will hear the, "No true/tough road games" and if it is at home, "no offensive dude". I have not problem with people questioning how good we are. I question it myself sometimes. I am a fanatic and love my chosen program and have hell'uva time pulling for SU sports. I have no problem with critiquing teams/programs; that is the nature of the buisness that they are in. It just seems that many media types go out of their way to try and "prove" that SU is a paper tiger or how much our programs do not deserve to be what they are. Of course this is a general statement. There are many in the media that do a fine job in giving an unbiased analysis. For some of these guys, it is like their great great grandaddy had is feelings hurt and it has been their family angst/desire; no passionate duty to get back at SU. Maybe I am just sensitive.:noidea:
