We also saw that to run, you need 2 or 3 guys who are capable ball handlers, who can (and are willing to ...) advance the ball quickly, and make unselfish decisions. Really, one of the signatures of the Early Peak Boeheim Era was combo forwards who could rebound, handle and hit the 3 - those 'one man fast break' big guys like Coleman, Owens, Wallace, Melo, etc.  Donnie Freeman might be the next of those guys.

I see this year's lineup like this.

These guys are going to play because they can handle the ball:
JJ, Carlos, Lucas Taylor, Cuffe and Moore.  Maybe add Westry in January if he can get healthy.  I expect 2 of these guys on the court at all times, and sometimes we'll even see 3 (Taylor or Westry as a SF).

These guys are going to play because they are shooters:
Bell, Starling, Moore, Freeman, and maybe Majstorovic, maybe Cuffe, too.
Two, and maybe three of those guys are going to be on the floor most of the time.

These guys are going to play because they can defend the post, rebound, and/or score in the low post:
Lampkin, MacLeod, Freeman, Majstorovic, Jyare Davis.  Two of those guys have to be on the floor at all times.

That's 11 guys who could play, certainly for November / December.  Then it probably goes down to 9 guys by January, maybe 8 by March.
