I have trouble believing he said that but I guess it would make sense why he kicked.  To think that the probability of making that kick was higher than getting two yards is not good thinking.  Especially given the conditions, and the fact that our FG kicking in road games has been atrocious.  And all of that to hopefully play for a tie on the road?  You're going to have to make a 4th and 2.5 eventually (the 2 point conversion).

Other than that and one head scratching play call (3 yard out to Wales on the short side of the field on 2nd and 25), I agree with others that this one was on the players.  You saw the disparity between yards and points. 2 dropped TDs on ultimately 0 point drives.  Very poor effort on tackling so often.  Very frustrating.

Fumble call was junk, but other than that I had no issues with the refs.  We ended up getting our short field TD off a turnover anyway just a bit later.
