What would a 2nd title mean

To JB's legacy? As Cuse fans, we all know he is fantastic. He does more with less and if it wasn't for some unfortunate situations, we would have a good chance of having 2 or 3 titles. With that being said, from an outsiders perspective, they do not care if Arinze was injured or Fab Melo couldn't write the word "cat." When I think of JB, I think of Peyton Manning. It was always hung over Manning's head that he only had one Super Bowl up to this year. Same thing goes for JB, only one title. Listening to Mike and Mike yesterday morning, Jim Calhoun said "Syracuse is a blue blood with only one title." What JB has done for this program and area has been astounding, I hope he gets that second. Who knows, maybe more than one more? We can always dream. The man deserves it, he has gone through a lot through the years.

It would mean everything, we finally get over that hump and get that 2nd title, and the morons out there who call Jb overrated, will have to eat crow and give him his due.

That is one of the better analogies I've heard in regards to this, and I wasn't aware of that.

And you're right, people have opinions and Boeheim will always have detractors regardless of what he does. It isn't just his on the court stuff, but the off the court as well. And for those reasons he's going to always have fans as well. JB already is a step up on the Bills team that went to 4 straight Superbowls, so nothing is guaranteed in life even though this feels magical and like he me be finally getting his due.
