Let's not be short sighted here. We have had pic champions. Marty Glickman. How about wrestler Gene Mills. A 2 time national champion. Certainly Jim Brown and Ernie Davis have to be in the deep discussion. Jim Boeheim and Dave Bing. Melo. Gary Gait.

Brown, Davis, Bing, Boeheim. If we go player only then DC replaces his coach. I love all these guys but Melo's one season and the team's Natty doesn't place him ahead of DC the #2 scorer and #1 Rebounder in program history. Quick note: Anyone else realize that DC has 50% more rebounds than the #2 rebounder? Also, I daresay if Greg Monroe had hit 6 3 pointers in the first half against Indiana then Melo might have brought home our 2nd Natty! It may also be fair to mention that Davis should have brought home SU's 2nd Heisman also!
