I remember when we signed him. At the time it was a huge get. I remember him having an impact as a freshman. Maybe a big play or two vs Rutgers at home in a win during the Marrone era. What happened after that season?

He broke a long TD run in that blowout win over Rutgers in Marrone’s first year.

'Dick, who remains close to Collier, said it is his understanding that Collier did not take one of his finals in the spring semester, and instead went on a trip to Virginia with friends, which is how he became academically ineligible to play this season.'

yea? he couldn't play but was still on the team and practicing. he was the scout team rb. then stopped showing up in November. maybe at marrones urging. academically ineligible to play isn't the same as flunking out. you don't "flunk out" until grades come out at the end of a semester and the school flunks you out.

Flunking out or as I called it "Making the Dean's other list". Sounds better that way. I should have put it on my resume: Made the Dean' other list

Splitting hairs. We'll go with your words and not mine. 'Academically ineligible'.

i sat next to him 2 years ago at the rochester dino/wildhack traveling show (it was on time warner sports a bunch of times so you may have seen it)

he is still a cuse fan and very nice kid. Jason Poles also sat at our table.

i had a couple of stories about him that i wrote about in my very amateur recap of the event if anyone is skilled enough to find it. if memory serves he and i think his brother started some sort of recruiting app

who ever gave you 'internet sleuth' in your bio description deserves a raise.

on that note, whomever did that for you did a great job with my "2018 Iggy Post Season Record NCAA Winner" bio.
You can do this yourself. Go here and you can call yourself anything (within reason ;) ).
