Melo leaving?! For where? He just learned how to run the floor and blocked shots. NBA requires a hell of a lot more. If he goes he becomes another development league project. Stay in school although letting JB, his team and us down as he did maybe it's better he does leave. Big mistake and not smart literally.

Waiters is another story. It would seem an intelligent decision for him to stay and become a starter. Let's see what he can do playing 38 - 40 instead of a half. All about the $.

And IBarrel, sit in the corner and suck your thumb. Even when we win it all next year you'll probably say we didn't win enough games leading into the tournament or we didn't play well all year. Your previous post down the board about this year and how all you will remember is the OSt game and losing is amazing. You were watching a great TEAM team go 34 -3 under circumstances that were cruel. IMO.

I don't think Fab leaving has much to do with his NBA prospects. He seems to have worn out his welcome at SU. Some people can't operate in a system where there are rules. Too bad. A real talent and he seemed like a nice kid ... really. At least on the court he seemd like a good team mate and not a headcase or uncoachable.

I don't think Dion Waiters improves his position in the NBA by staying another year. He has shown what he can do. Doing more of it at SU isn't necessary. The kids has got an NBA body and NBA skills. He'll have to adjust to the NBA game ... but he'd have to do that whenever he left SU. He's one of my all time favorites to watch. When he decided he was going to the basket, it was thrilling.
