When in 2003 did Davis approach the Syracuse Police?

I don't see much out there about the significance of Davis first making these allegations the same year Syracuse won the National Chamionship. Would be interested if he approached the police before or after the Final Four. As a better man, I'm putting my money on after the final four, or perhaps the week preceding the Final Four.

As far as I've read, well before the Final Four.

On another board, people were pointing out that the prior allegations were right on the heels of the Catholic church scandal. I haven't seen that brought up here, is the timing right?

That article says he approached the PS in October 2002.

The second article says complaints came to the police in "2002 and 2003."
