Possible, but I doubt that will be a major factor. ADJW needs someone on board quickly (portal issues). He will probably make it clear (if someone wants to stay for his school's bowl game, if applicable, that that would be a non-starter).

I think you wait until Monday or Tuesday next week. If we lose to Wake, you have some news to “turn the page” on this era. If we win, you want the replacement in house to evaluate during the 14 extra practices. And you want to secure your guy before they get snatched by another school.

Then negotiate contract, then attorney approval and signing by all parties. I'm guessing not as quickly as we would like.
