does that mean no more press??

I imagine we will really only see 6 guys playing any second half minutes once we get to that point, unless we have blow out wins. I really thought that press was meaningful tonight and I hope the plan is to continue to use our depth, even when the going gets a bit tougher.

When we stand around in half court battles, it just makes us look like an ordinary team, running a chuck and duck offense.

How bad are things getting (after a big win) when you yearn for a post from Blue Curtain or Igor?

with the exception of Kjo, there was no reason he couldn't sub for the last 30 minutes of that game. Classic Jimmy crawling back into his shell. Melo was gassed towards the end. The above poster was right on - when they are reduced to standing around and birdwatching -- they are joe crabshack and anybody can beat them. Living on the edge won't win 6 games in March, let alone 3. 24-1 is starting to look like a huge stock market bubble.

I have never seen a team trade 5 shots to our 1 and manage to lose the game.

Anyone who left that game with the warm and fuzzies must be heavily medicated or intoxicated.
No doubt. I don't find pleasure in an SU win unless it's by 20+ pts.

Melo was gassed towards the end.

No he wasn't. But nice try!

Remember when you used to only show up after losses? You must be furious that we've played so well this year that you have to show up after close wins.

What a joke. This team, and this style, has won 24 games. And lost 1. Perhaps we had a tough game against a ranked rival. Tempo AND rebounding weren't in our favor. And we won.

24-1 or not, we are definitely seeing a very disturbing trend when it comes to rebounding, and it will absolutely do us in when the tournament rolls around if we can't improve in that area. That's a fact. A team like Kentucky would have blown us out tonight.

I think the OP makes a legit point...JB definitely limited minutes tonight. If tonight is any indication, we may not have a 9-10 man rotation going forward.

When five guys play more minutes maybe the D does suffer a little?

And here I thought you were all out of fresh material.

You know what they say about opinions. You always prove to have a have a much larger opinion than most.

"Anybody can beat them", except another top ten team tonight. A gassed Melo made several huge plays down the stretch too. Glad facts never get in the way of your opinion.
